I’m in love. It’s just so awesome.

Finding an oppertunity to wear it is another matter, mind you. I keep imagining all the many ways my scarf can get wrapped in something and strangle me – haha

Oh well.

Two weeks work (ish) and it measures about 10 feet ina  k2 p2 stitch.

Incidentally that rib stitch is one of my all time faves. it makes everything scrunchable and soft, regardless. LOVE.

So yes, I’m a nerd and yes it’s impractical. But it makes me happy

Hello poppets, long time no see!

As you can tell from that somewhat dubious piccy of me blowing a raspberry at you (ish) is that – I HAZ WOOL NAO!

Work has been batshit insane. Seriously evil. 3rd year of uni is no picnic, kiddies, let me tell you. My crafting has gone right out of the widnow of late, ka-put.

But no longer!

I’ve been on a bit of a Doctor Who binge recently, and it made me think of the scarf. Y’know, THE scarf:

So, to get me back in the mood for knitting and to make sure that I’ve not completly lost the skill of how to do it, i’m going to take a little inspiration form it and make my own. Though probably not QUITE as long -haha

Besides, over in merry old England the winter has been quite frosty of late, and so for once I actually really need a nice scarf. I mean, I have hundreds (heh heh) but for some reason I feel like wearing any of ‘em. Pfft.

I’m keeping it simple, but i’ll keep you posted
Also i notice dhow messy this blog seems to be at the minute. At some point I’ll clear it up.

Huzzah for getting back on the knitting ‘bike’ so to speak!

And huzzah for sexy, fluffy squishy wool :p
